Molecularly dynamic
In a dance of ions
Drama of memory frontier horizons
Spikes set the state of synapses
Memory units numbering in trillions
I said I remember you
That's neural kung fu
Learning comes naturally to me
Mind generating all the possibilities
Yet to be
If I could mathematize synaptic rules
I could teach a robot how to fool
A Turing test
But ain't it dangerous for a machine
To develop self-interest
Collective systems have emergent properties
That can't be captured by closed-form equations
Learning self-organizes to adapt to
All of life's situations
Fully autonomous robots could colonize Mars
Compressing information into representations
Ever so sparse
